Fawbush's Fourth Grade
Woodland Elementary Rm. 202
A Little About Me
Welcome to 4th grade! I am Mrs. Fawbush, and I am so excited to be your teacher for the year. I have taught fourth grade for the last eleven years, and I absolutely love it. Previously, I taught both fifth and sixth grades right here in District 7. I believe that children learn best when they feel safe, confident, and are engaged. With that being said, be prepared to work hard and have lots of fun!
I have three children. CJ is 24 years old and works as an auto mechanic, and I have identical twin girls. Allie is a nurse at BJC, and Annie works as an advocate for at-risk youth. It is still so hard to believe that they are all adults! I have been married to my husband for twenty-eight years, and he is a locomotive engineer for Union Pacific Railroad (a locomotive engineer is the one driving the trains). If you are ever stopped at a railroad crossing, wave hello. It just might be Mr. Fawbush!
I also have two pets, a dog and a cat. Our dog, Lucy, is a Great Dane and is two years old. She is such a sweet girl and very smart, but she gets easily distracted by other dogs, people, birds, squirrels, moving leaves...you get the idea. Charlotte, our cat, is 7 years old and is not the friendliest cat in the world, but she has her sweet moments.
In my free time, I love to read, listen to music, go boating, travel, and scrapbook our adventures. Other than those things, I simply enjoy spending time with my family, and of course, TEACHING!
This web-page has some helpful links, but Schoology will be used and updated on a regular basis. Make sure to be familiar with signing into your Schoology account for homework and calendar updates.
This is going to be a GREAT year!
Meet Lucy, our Great Dane! I will talk about her a lot throughout the year and tell you all of her funny stories. She definitely keeps life interesting!
